I cannot believe I have only just come across this site. Not only does it showcase excellent ideas and resources for using comics in the classroom but it  gives amazing exemplars which should inspire you. 

It is all about teaching using visual narratives and models responses and lesson ideas. It helpfully talks about the software used and gives a guide for preparation.
