Along with the history wars and culture wars we are about to have literacy ( or English) wars. Kevin Donnelly’s views on education are outmoded and conservative but he is charged with the duty of reviewing the curriculum. He believes that ‘teachers teach and students learn’.  Ahh, simplicity.
