Focus has become a difficult thing with so many distractions contributing to this difficulty. I am currently reading Goleman’ s new book on Focus and it is highlighting for me the ways that I allow distractions to stop me from doing things as well as I could. The point is that technology contributes to a lack of focus by making small things seem important as they bombard us with information, distracting us from larger and more important things. While I love using technology I think I need to switch off more and rebuild the strength of my focus. Interesting readings for those who want to do things well.
