The results are in. While they are not completely conclusive due to lack of a control group, there is evidence here of some improvement in student scores where teachers used iPads and flipped the learning. It is a worthwhile article to read if considering the use if technology in the classroom. While some of the results can be attributed to increased engagement, and some due to increased teacher passion as well as a more flexible approach to learning, it is clear that, for some students at least, using technology makes it easier to learn, and importantly, retain knowledge.
